Who am I?
This is my (Kevin Deng’s) personal web page, used to tidy up my digital footprint and put everything in a convenient location for YOU to see, whether you’re a friend, enemy, or secret third thing (employer).
I want to have my own platform to show off the things that I do, and it would be great to become one of the most searchable Kevin Dengs on the web.
I don’t need fame or fortune. I don’t need comfort or love or shelter. All I need is to compete against other Kevin Dengs.
This site is very very WIP! I'm rethinking the design and trying to figure out buttons, but life is getting in the way right now.
Work samples
- I graduated from Boston College in 2021 as a Scholar of the College. You can read my dissertation on grey literature in Roman funerary archaeology [Google Drive].
- I reconstructed a Minoan mansion once [Youtube]. Bibliography here [Google Drive].
- I received my MSc in Digital Archaeology in 2024 from the University of York. I developed a methodology for using terrestrial laser scanning to calibrate photogrammetry of interior spaces, in order to use 3D models as archaeological test subjects. - Not in the mood to read 70 pages, even though most of them are appendices? I made a video about it [Youtube]. (the video is very quiet, sorry)
- I also helped make a video game about clowns! I made the audio, all of the art except the eyeballs, and helped with some of the coding. I also wrote the copy. You can find it here [itch.io].
